Privacy Policy

How we protect and handle your personal information

Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our apps.

Information We Collect

Our applications are designed with privacy as a core principle. All app data, including your preferences, and configurations, is stored exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Exception for Community Features: Some of our applications include community and chat features. These features require storing user-generated content (messages, posts) on our servers to function. Please see the "Community and Chat Features" section below for detailed information about how this data is handled.

However, please note that third-party services we use, such as Apple App Store Connect, may automatically collect and store non-personal analytics data as part of their standard infrastructure. For example, Apple may collect standard App Store metrics such as app installations, crashes, and basic usage statistics. This data collection is handled entirely by the third-party service providers and is outside of our control - it is the same for all iOS apps distributed through the App Store. We do not have access to personally identifiable information through these metrics. The third-party services may store this non-personal analytics data (such as aggregated usage statistics, crash reports, and performance metrics) to improve their services. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for more information about their data practices.

The only data stored or used by our app directly is:

  • Local Device Storage: Your settings, preferences, and app data are stored locally on your device only.
  • iCloud Backup (iOS): If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your app data may be included in automatic iOS backups to iCloud. This is managed entirely by Apple and is outside of our control. Please refer to Apple's privacy policy for information about iCloud data handling.

How We Use Your Information

All app functionality operates entirely on your device using locally stored data. Your privacy is fully protected because your data never leaves your device, except through iCloud backups which are managed by Apple.

Community Features: For applications with community and chat features, we use user-generated content solely to provide and maintain these features, including content moderation, responding to reports, and ensuring community safety. We do not use this content for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than providing and moderating the community features. Please see the "Community and Chat Features" section below for more details.

Data Storage and Security

For most of our applications, we do not store any data on our servers. All app data, including your settings, and preferences, is stored exclusively on your device. This means your data is protected by your device's built-in security measures.

The only potential remote storage is through iCloud backups, which are automatically managed by Apple when you have iCloud Backup enabled. These backups are encrypted and stored by Apple, not by us. We have no access to or control over iCloud backups. If you have concerns about iCloud backups, you can disable iCloud Backup for our app in your iOS settings.

We do not sell, rent, or share any information. Your privacy is guaranteed by design.

Community and Chat Features

Some of our applications may include community and chat features that allow users to interact with each other. These features require additional data handling to function properly and ensure a safe environment for all users.

User-Generated Content

When you use community or chat features, the content you post, share, or transmit (including messages, posts, and other user-generated content) is stored on our servers to enable these features to function. This content is necessary for:

  • Displaying your content to other users in the community
  • Enabling real-time chat functionality
  • Content moderation and safety enforcement
  • Responding to user reports and blocking requests

Content Moderation and Reporting

To maintain a safe and respectful community environment, we store and process:

  • Content that you report or flag as objectionable
  • Information about users you block, including the associated content that led to the blocking action
  • Content that is automatically flagged by our filtering systems
  • Moderation actions taken by our team

This data is stored for moderation purposes and to ensure compliance with our Terms of Service. We review reported content within 24 hours and take appropriate action, including content removal and user account termination when necessary.

Data Retention

User-generated content in community features is retained as long as necessary to provide the service and maintain community safety. Content that violates our Terms of Service may be retained for a longer period for moderation and safety purposes. When you delete your account or specific content, we will remove it from active display, though some data may be retained in backups for a limited time as required for moderation and legal compliance.

Your Control Over Community Data

You have control over your community content:

  • You can delete your own posts and messages at any time
  • You can block other users to prevent them from interacting with you
  • You can report objectionable content for review
  • You can choose not to use community features if you prefer not to share content

If you have questions about data stored in community features or wish to request deletion of your community content, please contact us through our support page.

Third-Party Services

Our applications uses the following third-party services:

  • Apple App Store Connect: As mentioned above, Apple automatically collects standard App Store analytics through their infrastructure. This is standard for all iOS apps and is handled entirely by Apple, not by us. We do not implement any additional analytics or tracking services beyond what Apple automatically provides. Apple may store non-personal analytics data (such as aggregated usage statistics, crash reports, and app performance metrics) as part of their standard App Store operations.
  • Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare for Quran data storage to provide reliable access to Quranic content and audio recitations. Cloudflare may collect standard CDN and caching metrics, which are handled by their infrastructure.
  • Firestore: We use Firestore (Google Cloud Firestore) for community data storage and analytics in applications with community and chat features. Firestore stores user-generated content (messages, posts) and provides analytics capabilities for community moderation and safety. Data stored in Firestore is subject to Google Cloud's privacy policy and security measures.

The third-party services we use may store non-personal analytics data (such as aggregated usage statistics, crash reports, and performance metrics) to improve their services and provide app distribution functionality. This data is collected and stored by the third-party service providers, not by us, and is subject to their respective privacy policies.

We do not use any custom analytics tools, tracking services, or other third-party services that we have implemented ourselves to collect or process your personal information.

Your Rights

For most of our applications, we do not collect or store any personal data, so there is no data for us to access, correct, or delete. However, you have full control over your local data:

  • All your app data is stored on your device and is under your complete control
  • You can delete the app at any time, which will remove all locally stored data
  • You can manage iCloud backups through your iOS settings if you have iCloud Backup enabled
  • Since we don't collect data for most apps, there are no data collection practices to opt out of

Community Features: For applications with community and chat features, you have the right to:

  • Delete your own posts and messages at any time
  • Request deletion of your community account and associated content
  • Block other users to prevent unwanted interactions
  • Report objectionable content for review
  • Access information about content moderation actions taken on your reports

To exercise any of these rights or request deletion of your community data, please contact us through our support page.
